Bread Machine Sweet Potato Bread
Baking your own bread isn’t just about the heavenly smell wafting through your kitchen—it’s a downright rebellion against overpriced loaves that expire faster than your last impulse buy. You get to skip the preservatives, weird ingredients you can’t pronounce, and that nagging feeling that you just paid six bucks for glorified flour and water. Plus, I’m using a bread machine which is easier and quicker and your friends will think you’re a culinary genius (even if your first loaf looks like a lopsided brick). So grab that apron—your wallet, your taste buds, and your sense of pride will thank you!
Milk 225 ml (I warm mine in the microwave for 30 second)
3 Tablespoons molasses
Mashed Sweet Potato 150 grams
Bread Flour 375 grams
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Instant Yeast
2 Tablespoons of softened butter
Add ingredients into your bread machine in the order listed. Select the basic or sweet setting on your machine. When the bread is done take the pan out of the machine and leave to cool for fifteen minutes before removing from the pan. Enjoy!
Using a bread machine is super simple, if you are not sure about buying one or if you’d use it to justify the cost, look on Facebook Marketplace or go thrifting. You can find most manuals right online!
