A Proud Mama Moment: Celebrating Nicole’s Incredible Achievement
By The Real Frugalist
Every now and then, life gives you one of those moments where you stop, breathe, and say,
“Look at what she did. Look at who she became.”
Today is one of those moments for our family.
For the last four years, my daughter Nicole Renelick — mother of four, chaos coordinator, midnight-paper-writer, lunch-packer, peacemaker — has been quietly, steadily, and relentlessly working toward her degree.
Not part-time.
Not “when I can fit it in.”
Full time.
And if that wasn’t enough, in the last year she added not one but two jobs on top of it. Imagine juggling that schedule: working, studying, parenting, and somehow still showing up for her kids every single day.
There were late nights.
There were early mornings.
There were moments she doubted, moments she pushed through, and moments she had to dig deep and keep going anyway.
But she never quit.
Not once.
And today, all of that hard work paid off.
Nicole has officially earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University — and as if that weren’t enough, she has already started a brand-new job in her field.
I cannot express how proud we are of her.
This woman set a goal, carved out a path, and didn’t let anything — not exhaustion, not overwhelm, not life’s curveballs — stop her.
Her diploma isn’t just a piece of paper.
It’s proof of her grit.
Her determination.
Her faith in herself.
Her commitment to building a good life for her family.
Nicole, if you see this —
You did it. And the world is wide open for you now.
Congratulations, my girl.
Your whole family is celebrating you today.
