Dessert Toast
I apparently need to explain what dessert toast is. And of course it starts with a story.
My granddaughter asked me one day why when I have eggs I have one plain toast and one jelly toast. I explained that one piece of toast was to go with the eggs and to wipe up all the egg yolk because that is really good stuff. Then there is one piece of toast left smothered in raspberry jelly (it could be strawberry as well but it HAS to be home made). So that piece of toast I consider my dessert toast and I ALWAYS eat that last. She liked that idea. She was a little upset with me later on though when she realized that no one else knows what dessert toast is. So..now you know!
