Garlic & Herb Focaccia – Bread Machine

Ingredients

  • 375 g bread flour
  • 270 ml water
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
  • 7 g (1 ½ tsp) salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 7 g (1 ½ tsp) dried mixed herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, oregano)
  • 7 g (2 tsp) instant yeast

Directions

  1. Pour the water and olive oil into the bread machine pan. Sprinkle in the salt, minced garlic, and dried herbs so they’re evenly distributed. Add the flour on top, covering the liquids completely. Make a small well in the center of the flour and add the yeast.
  2. Select the “Dough” setting on your bread machine and let it run through the cycle.
  3. When the dough is ready, put it to a greased baking sheet. Gently flatten and shape it into a rectangle or oval about ½ inch thick. Cover loosely and let rise in a warm spot for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425, dimple the dough with your fingertips, then drizzle a little olive oil across the top.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, cool on a wire rack, slice, and serve warm.

Having spaghetti for dinner and someone said lets go to the store and get garlic bread. Nope…no need. I gotcha. And here we are with the most yummy thing with our spaghetti. Seriously wish you could have smelled my house. Honestly!
